Privacy Policy

Summary

We collect the minimum needed to run an account: your email address, what you star, and whether you have an active subscription. We run no analytics and no advertising trackers of any kind. We do not sell your data, and we never see your card details.

What we collect

Account information. Your email address and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile information from Google instead of a password.

Usage within your account. The games you star, and the line alerts generated for them, together with the date each was created and whether an alert has been read.

Subscription information. If you subscribe, we store identifiers issued by Stripe (a customer ID and subscription ID), the status of your subscription, which plan you are on, and when the current period ends.

Technical information. Standard server logs, and cookies strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to protect forms against cross-site request forgery.

What we do not collect

We do not run analytics, advertising, or behavioural tracking software. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, and no third-party tracker on this site.

We never receive or store your card number, expiry, or security code. Payment details are entered on Stripe's own hosted checkout and stay with Stripe.

Third parties that receive data

Stripe — payment processing and subscription management. Receives your email and payment details directly from you at checkout.

Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google, which shares your email and basic profile with us. Separately, the site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers when a page loads.

Anthropic — powers the Enhanced Check feature. When you run a check we send the details of that one game (teams, line, model output). We do not send your email address or account identifiers.

collegefootballdata.com — the source of schedules, scores, statistics and betting lines. We send them no information about you.

jsDelivr — serves stylesheets and scripts, so your browser contacts them on page load.

Render — hosts the site and its database.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account exists. Line alerts are kept so you can review them. Subscription records are kept as long as required for accounting and tax purposes, which may outlast your account.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete your account and personal data by emailing help@cfb-predictor.com. Some records must be kept for legal or accounting reasons even after deletion; where that applies we keep the minimum and nothing more.

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights over your data, including access, correction, and portability. Email help@cfb-predictor.com to exercise them.

Children

This site is not intended for anyone under 21, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified by email or on the site.
